It's Aarons game Shimm, Lurks just a dude who's taken the point on rebalancing and redesigning all races and classes in the game.
Suggest the new afflicts and damage types in the player suggestion part of the forums :D

Well I should have them in there.. If i don't well that's cause i suck.
And really, without more info of what really is to come, the most i can do in this thread is make wild ideas on how to rebalance things. (As awful as my rebalances are.)
Like for stats, i personally feel End should be much more effective than pow when it comes to defense. Course i am only going by my observations..

You haven't experimented that much in endurance have you. It's highly effective when it all comes down to it since it is a universal resist. I've actually been experimenting with endurance with a dwarf/monk and with the endurance boost even heavy hitters in PvP I only experience the at most a few hundred as opposed to the quad digits they usually hit for.
I'm coming up with the stats pretty well balanced on the mathmatic level in the exception of luck which seems to influence even resist.

It seems to me that no one can really tell how good or bad the new skill update will be until they see it, but to me it sounds like a pretty good deal since the more options you have in creating a character the more personalyzed that character becomes to you...And yes eliminating the super afflicts, power and magic characters will help alot...I am just getting my MF to the point of doing 1 hits at SH but if I have to start over ???? Its almost as much fun...

Have you ever tried to damage Brutalis with Phy? It's not insanely difficult because he has END. (Though I'm sure he has plenty of that too.) It's because POW mitigation of phy is more effective - by far - than END. And MND is more effective at mitigating magic damages, by far. END suffers diminishing returns as does everything else, and it's simply not worth buffing END beyond 1-2K when 2K of END, 10K of MND, and phy resist does the job so much better, and affords you damage, to-hit, and dodge while doing it. POW and MND are also better at AGI tasks than AGI is. Luck, on the other hand, influences everything slightly - the mouse-over on the character page says it does, at least. However the only noteworthy effects I've been able to discern have been in farming, and people dispute that, as well.

Pretty much i have to agree with you there lurky.
It doesn't matter how much agi you have, they will hit you eventually. And when they do your dead.
It doesn't matter how much end you have. They will hit you to death.
Because pumping in Pow or Mnd, you increase defense, damage and hit chance. Making Agi and End pretty useless in comparison.
The call for better end especially isn't about being unkillable. Its about being able to withstand for a while, allowing your ranged allies fight for you, or holding the point long enough that people can respawn and come back.

Probably plays into other combat rolls as well, but clearly LUK is more of a PvE stat rather than PvP.
