1: Switch browsers
Some browsers are not that friendly towards DoH, and some are there for simply better for the job. Flock is one of the better browser, as it runs both add-ons but is a little bit better for DoH. There are some other browsers out there as well, Google Chrome for instant works very fast with DoH but as far as I have seen has no add-ons

2: Update your computers
Get the latest updates for Drivers, Java etc. If your computer runs faster, so will DoH.

3: Cleanup your computer
Clear cache once in a while, scan for spyware/malware/virusses. Defragments. Perform computer tweaks. Once again a faster computer is a faster DoH.

4: No Add-ons
Add-ons are a nice addition to DoH, unfortunately they also make DoH a tad slower by requiring more stuff to load. For the fastest DoH experience turn them off untill you need them.

5: Clean mule
A lot of lag is generated from having a full mule. Clean your mule before you trade , so they dont have to load up in trade again. This is especially true if you have a maxed out mule.

6: Guildvault
You know that insane lag you get when you press the GV chat. Thats because it has to load an immense list of GV items. Try to clean up your GV every now and then, or spread it out.

7: Restart your browser/computer every now and then!
This is something I often do not . But a freshly started up computer/Browser works alot faster then the ones that have an immense up-time.

8: Optimize your computer
Your browser often are incomplete and could have gotten way faster by simply tweaking a bit. This is especially true for example XP and Vista. There are a bunch of links out there that you can easily google, but ill provide you with a link that has helped my computer.

9: Don't multitask
As true as it is for women, you can multitask, but if you want to get the best performance, don't do other things on your computer.

10: Buy a new computer
Really, its the best way, but its the only thing on this list that certainly aint free


Hope this helps a bit for those with the slower / laggier computers like mine. Dont expect miracles though, as I still lag in this game frequently. But then again I might have to opt for option 10 :P

Keep in mind that if you use any flash applications such as web games, (Kongregate, armor games, newgrounds, etc.) that Chrome can break flash across all browsers. If you're using only DoH in Chrome, that's probably your best bet, but in my opinion this is Chrome's biggest failing, requiring you to uninstall and reinstall flash across all browsers.
