 guild locks please!!!
i was wondering if it would be possible to put guild locks on items that have coe from the vault? this would prevent accidental recycles and people robbing the vault and selling the vault items. the items are there to help new members get started, and need to be protected somehow so they cant be lost to the guild by acident or on purpose. a recall feature would be great too. i recommend only leaders and founders be able to remove the locks on guild items, this way if someone donates junk, it can be removed and recycled. i understand you have a rank system that allows only certain members in the vaults, but again, it just takes 1 person clean out the vault and completely ruin things in the guild. you cant keep everyone happy, people within the ranks could get in an arguement over something and decide to leave taking the vault with them. there needs to be some way to protect guild items.

Yes, I agree with you that this could be a good addition to the game. It will definitely be helpful for the larger guilds that take on new players. Yes, only Leaders and the Founder should be able to edit these items, because if a member is given this status, this means they have proved their loyalty and dedication to the guild.
On another note that coincides with the recall function, maybe the Founder, and only the Founder, to be able to put a "Timer" on guild gear such as the EXP suit. This timer should be able to be edited so by hours/days. That way suits might not sit on peoples toons if they are not on, or become inactive.

 Re: guild locks please!!!
another post that has gotten no support or comment from the mods or anyone other than a player. seems pointless to contribute ideas if they arent even looked at by the people who make decisions here

Looks like a good idea. But maybe it needs a new key system so it may be hard to implement? I believe they have their hands full with the big update right now, I'm sure they'll check in here when they get a chance.

 Re: guild locks please!!!
Sorry that our BUSY Schedules don't revolve around you and your "amazing" contributions.
I think this needs some better work. What if the Guild Founder/Leaders go on vacation? Or Quit? And the guild is without those two positions? Gear would be locked inside the vault until if/when they returned.
I do however like the idea of locking items in the vault, but the vault is only as safe and trustworthy as the people who have access to it.
A new player can't just go in and TAKE everything, he must either become a Treasurer or above, OR get a treasurer to get the items for him/her. So, talk to your guild mates that have access to the Guild Vault, and make a set of rules that EVERYONE understands and upholds.
I do however think this would be a nifty idea, but one thing: Who gets the final say in what items get locked?
What if I donate a REALLY kick ass rune with HPR, 5.6%POW, LIFE, and LUCK, [for example.] and I don't have the ability to lock it, or unlock it if it IS locked.
I think this is a viable idea but needs much more work than Just leaders or JUST founders, or both.
Also, with item locks in the vault, a vault would just be another mule, throw items in there, lock them so they can't be stolen, and viola, more storage for you, no chance of getting stolen.
And yes Strong, the dev team are working on a LOT of large updates.
For example: Skills/Races/Classes update. New FvF System. Aaron JUST fixed the scale drop rate issue. And is working on many many many other small issues that need fixing.
So, just because we don't comment doesn't mean we don't read these Clipper. And FYI - MODS do nothing about getting things done in the game. We MODERATE the chatroom, which means Muting, Warning, Kicking, and if we so wish it we can help the community [which we all do in our own way, I write guides, some mods hand out free gear for lower level toons, etc.]
We are in no way associated directly with the development team in terms of "What gets done next", all we do is enforce the chat rules.

 Re: guild locks please!!!
huh it was posted in may, and here it is only the end of october before it got a response... didnt realize you had been so busy with that big update since way back then. anyway. perhaps an auto lock system for donated items would work. i think that would work better and have it set so only leaders and above could unlock them. have it set so if your not a member of the guild then you cant use it til unlocked. that prevents someone from stealing and leaving the guild, and trying to sell or use it. as long as they are in the guild, they could use the item. a recall would be nice too, but i am more interested in keeping what we have.
